Board of Commissioners
Citizen Budget Meetings
During the month of May, Ottawa County will continue our commitment to maintaining a strong emphasis on communicating with citizens and other stakeholders by hosting five citizen budget meetings throughout the county. The goals of the meetings are to educate citizens on the budget and services of Ottawa County and to receive feedback from citizens on their priorities as we move into the future. The information gathered from the meetings will be presented to the Board of Commissioners as an additional tool in the preparation of the 2010 budget. After all of the citizen budget meetings have been held, staff will compile the information and post the results on www.miottawa.org.
