Electronic Content Management
In January 2006, Ottawa County began its implementation of a Justice Document Management Information System (JDMIS).
Since that time, Electronic Content
Management has expanded to include eight departments in the justice group
as well as the Clerk Vital Records
office, and Community Mental Health. The new system replaced two existing
document imaging systems. ECM enhances business processes by automating
workflow within and between departments. The following table shows the
volume of documents and pages stored in the system as of August 1, 2008.
The additional documents reflect the historical documents scanned into
the system prior to department scanning day forward.
