Microsoft Word Intermediate Provides the following advanced document processing techniques: Formatting sections; Defining, applying, and modifying styles; Inserting graphics, adding borders and formatting text around graphics; Printing labels and envelopes, Inserting files and symbols.
Microsoft Excel Introduction Teach the skills necessary to put together a spreadsheet using some basic calculations and functions. This class is a great place to begin learning the capabilities of spreadsheet applications.
Microsoft Excel Intermediate Teach filtering, creating a chart, advanced formatting, hiding and displaying data. Also covers working with multiple worksheets, various functions, and large worksheets.
Beginners Access Covers the basics of how a Database works, and its structure. Use Access by using basic sample Database setups, how to add records, create Tables and Reports. Learn the difference between a Non-relational Database and a Relational Database, make custom Data Entry Screens.
PowerPoint Introduction Course focuses on applying text and pictures on slides; navigating in the PowerPoint window; applying a design template; arranging slide content by using layouts; printing handouts and notes; and preparing to present the finished product.
PowerPoint Animations The PowerPoint Animations class delves into using pre-made animations and setting up your own animations with sounds and music to enhance your presentations. As this is very technical, it is required that you take PowerPoint Introduction and have a solid understanding of the materials presented in that training.
Lotus Notes Introduction Lotus Notes Introduction will give you the basics of E-mail, Calendars and To Do Lists, with the main focus being E-mail functions. Included will be creating mail messages, formatting, spell checking, delivery options, replying, forwarding, attachments, and managing your e-mail account using folders. You will set up archiving and learn about the "Out of Office" feature. Also included will be setting up your local address book, using Calendars and scheduling meetings and using the "To Do" function for organizing your work activities.
Lotus Notes Calendars Setting calendar preferences; creating and maintaining calendar entries; “how to’s” of calendar functions; using group calendars
Basic Computer Skills Basic “how-to” instructions for employees who could use beginning skill level tools. Included is simple navigation of the Windows environment: opening, saving, hands-on lessons for managing files and documents, as well as choosing the correct application for the work to be accomplished.
ArcView Basic functions of ArcView software. Components of Geographic data, capturing, storing, querying and analyzing data. The directory tree structure, data location and basic projection, scale and tool-bar functions.
