Ottawa County Development Plan
The Ottawa County Planning Commission and the Department of Planning and Performance Improvement are currently in the process of updating the County Development Plan. The updated plan will be innovative, results-oriented, dynamic, and mainly project-based.
The updated Ottawa County Development Plan will create a model for implementing multi-jurisdictional projects that will preserve natural features and farmland, protect aesthetic features and environmental quality, promote efficient and safe transportation corridors, and increase the vibrancy of urban areas in Ottawa County.
The Ottawa County Planning Commission is in the process of notifying all stakeholders to inform them of the update to the county development plan and encouraging their input and collaboration in this endeavor.
A tentative timeline has been prepared for the completion of the County Development Plan.
