Planning and Grants Library

Planning & Grants Library

The Ottawa County Planning Resource Library (index) provides a single location where planners, elected officials and interested citizens are able to access a variety of information that can assist them in addressing difficult planning challenges. The library, which is one of the few known planning libraries in Michigan, and the only one created by a County, consists of books, videos, audiocassettes and periodicals from a variety of sources that have expertise in land-use planning. Visitors to the library can watch educational videos and listen to audio presentations, make copies of articles and planning documents, review local master plans and zoning ordinances*, and check out a variety of planning resources. Planning and Grants offers an online index of the library, which lists most available resources, allows visitors to search for planning documents by author, title, and subject, as well as by key words.
