-Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS)
Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) is an agency that partners with individuals and employers to achieve quality outcomes and independence for persons with disabilities. If you have a disability that makes it difficult for you to work, MRS may be able to help you prepare for, find, and/or keep a job. MRS is part of Michigan's Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
In Ottawa County, the MRS office is located at 121 Clover Ave., Holland, MI 49423 on the second floor of the Michigan Works service center. It also has many offices throughout the state.
If you are thinking of applying for MRS services, you might ask yourself the following questions:
- Am I interested in working?
- Do I have a physical or mental disability?
- Does my disability cause problems for me in preparing for a job, finding a job, or keeping a job?
- Do I need MRS assistance to help me prepare for, find, or keep a job?
If you answered yes to all of these questions, you may be eligible for MRS services. The MRS office can be contacted at the above address or you can call (616) 395-8495 to inquire about services. More information can be viewed at the Rehabilitation Services section of the State of Michigan website.
