who qualify under grant guidelines. Whether a home needs weatherization,
or a family needs help paying utility bills the Community Action Agency
has limited funding to help eligigle Ottawa County Residents on a first-come
first-serve basis Mission Statement: Reducing the effects of poverty in Ottawa County by promoting self-sufficiency and economic indepencence. |

Community Action Agency is a sponsor of
events throughout Ottawa County year around, and the premier event CAA
sponsors is the annual Walk For Warmth. The 2008 Walk For Warmth held Saturday, February 16, was a huge success! Click here to see photos of the event! Participants came from all parts of the county: Plainwell, Hudsonville, Grand Haven, West Olive, Zeeland and Holland, as well as South Bend, Indiana, and Grand Rapids. Saturday’s walk raised $3428.00! The Walk For Warmth program has raised $22,000 since October! It’s never too late to donate to help heat a home!
