Filing a Grievance
If you have a grievance against Michigan Works or an employer, you may file a grievance with the investigative assistance of Michigan Works. Please follow the steps outlined below:
  1. Visit the Michigan Works service center in Holland, MI located at 121 Clover St., Holland.
  2. Tell the person at the front desk that you wish to file a grievance against Michigan Works or an area employer.
  3. The person at the front desk will contact the Grievance Officer, and the Grievance Officer will sit down with you and go through your grievance in detail.
  4. At the close of your meeting you will leave with a copy of your grievance, and the Michigan Works staff will investigate your grievance and will communicate to you their findings.
