Board Member since November 11, 2003.

Joy Gaasch is the President of The Chamber, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg. Joy has been in her position for 3 years.

Joy has served with the Saginal Bay Midland Private Industry Council, the Northwest Michigan Workforce Development Board, and currently serves on the Ottawa County Education Advisory Group, Lakeshore 504 CDC, Lakeshore Junior Achievement, the West Michigan Shoreline Association Leadership Forum, and the Coast Guard Festival Board.

Joy emphasizes the importance of workforce development on the economic vitality and ability to attract and retain jobs for the area.

Joy encourages people to be open to change and that lifelong learning is a critical component of an individuals' openness to changed.

The biggest change in the industry for Joy has been the emphasis and importance of working regionally.
