We can help you prepare for what's next. Michigan Works provides workshops, classes and other opportunities for those who are currently employed.

If a person wants to earn his/her General Education Degree (GED) Michigan Works offers GED coursework and certification.

If someone wants to learn to speak English, Michigan Works offers English As A Second Language (ESL) classes.

The employment-related workshops at Michigan Works are open to anyone who wants to take them. Please check the calendar page and call (616) 396-2154 to register.

And people are welcome to utilize the Michigan Works facility for employment-related purposes. The computers can be utilized for job searching, the fax machine can be used to fax applications, cover letters and resumes, and the copier can be used (5-page limit) all for employment-related purposes.
