This 172 acre site is only accessible from the Grand River.The site is surrounded by private property and there is no road access. A short portage must be made over the bank of the Grand River to reach the bayou.

The property includes a large bayou surrounded by woods. This is an ideal site for someone looking for a place to fish from their kayak. No motorized watercraft are allowed on the bayou.

During times of high water Ripps Bayou can be accessed directly by kayak. The best way to reach the Bayou during high water is to start from Deer Creek County Park and head east from the Deer Creek to the bayou.
