Safety and Security is becoming increasingly important for places of worship. Church leaders, security teams and decision makers in their place of worship must be prepared for any emergency that could occur. There has been a steady increase in security threats to places of worship across the country. With the recent events throughout the country churches must be prepared for a variety crisis situations, such as medical emergencies, domestic violence, disruptive or violent visitors, to weather emergencies.
In this two part training workshop attendees will learn about the importance of developing a safety and security policy and an Emergency Operations Plan. They will be able to recognize high risk areas in their place of worship and offices with a presentation on Crime Prevention through Environmental design.
Dates are September 13 and September 27. Participants are NOT required to attend both sessions. Please register for each date separately.
