The Ottawa County Community Corrections Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Ottawa County Director of Community Corrections, approves applications for grant funding, and monitors programs geared to reduce local prison commitment rates in accordance to Public Act 511 of 1988. The board is comprised of 15 members that are appointed by the County Board of Commissioners and who must meet certain pre-qualification requirements. Members of the board serve 2-year terms and meet four times per year at the Ottawa County Fillmore Street complex.
