The Ottawa County Jury Board is responsible for ensuring the processes and procedures of the selection of jurors for Ottawa County. This Jury Board is required by state statute MCL 600.1301. It is comprised of 3 members that are appointed by the County Board of Commissioners, based on the recommendation of the circuit judges of the judicial circuit. Members serve 6-year terms, and meet annually in May or as needed by the determination of the Chief Circuit Judge.
